Naalumanikkaattu (Evening Breeze) is an innovative rural ecotourism and responsible tourism project in Kottayam, Kerala, India. Transformed from a wayside dump yard by the villagers, it now features local and heritage food stalls, providing an evening leisure spot amidst refreshing paddy fields. The project promotes women empowerment, offers livelihood support, and fosters habitat and water conservation. It also emphasizes energy conservation, sustainable waste management, and the preservation of heritage food and culture, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through community engagement and environmental stewardship.
